The Town of Hebron was incorporated in 1708 and is strategically located in central Connecticut. Hebron, included Amston and Gilead, has an estimated population of 7,800 and is one of Connecticut's fastest growing towns, yet continues to offer friendly, quiet, rural, "small town" appeal. In Hebron, you will find much colonial style architecture in both residential and business areas. Hebron is home to the annual Maple Festival held in mid-March and the Hebron Harvest Fair in early September. A newly constructed state-of-the-art library is conveniently located in the center of town. Hebron offers affordable land for residential and business growth, recreational facilities, civic organizations, educational programs and municipal services. Hebron offers a full range of products and services such as a pharmacy, supermarket, health food store, home decorating, and hardware stores, a full-service post office, laundromat, and legal, accounting, banking, real estate, data processing, public relations, and marketing services.
